ingenuity in little things

I (Sarah) am a big fan of all sorts of unusual (but USEFUL) information. I thrive on magazines like REAL Simple because of one particular column they have: “New Uses for Old Things”. In this column, they feature items and its regular uses but creatively suggests new uses for them, check out this one: Using binder clips as picture holders. Brilliant!

I’ve always been inclined to be ‘nontraditional’ and ‘unorthodox’ when things I need are not at hand. One thing I’ve done is re-creating our $10-wall mirror from Target as decoration. I painted it black and hung it up in our living room horizontally. I got $1 frames (from the Dollar Store) and printed out pictures from our travels.
