DIY Idea: Armoire from 2 bookshelves

I love this idea! This is perfect because I just got 2 bookshelves from Freecycle and I just have to try this out. This is a DIY idea from the upcoming Martha Stewart Living Magazine. It’s a desk hidden in an armoire made from two bookshelves.

Long piano hinges connect the two bookcases together as one book case is attached to the wall. Front of the bookcase is decorated with wallpaper and framed with molding.

Plexi glass is attached to the book case to keep things in place.

Fold-up desk is plywood that’s build with self-locking hardware.
